Mallorca, land of shoemakers! Originally from Mallorca the up-and-coming band Beach Beach have invited us to a small and beautiful shoe manufacture in their new hometown Barcelona. In the basement between shelves with all kinds of wooden feet models the four guys kick off with a powerful rendition of “Plants” Their energetic performance causes a great stir and makes us break out in sweat already from watching it. Back upstairs Beach Beach play the catchy and up-beat “Tasteless”. It’s all such a terrific live experience! However, there’s one moment when guitarist and singer Pau gives his bandmates a nervous smile during the performance of “Tasteless”. He afterwards explains that he’s made a mistake. No one even noticed, it’s just so cute!

Spain has a long shoemaker tradition. De Ubieta is such a place in Barcelona, where you can find beautiful handmade shoes and bags. The young designer Sarah Gonzáles gives heir products a timeless quality with a modern twist.
