Cari Cari and Film Orchestra Babelsberg

Such a special occasion, and such a long wait! Austrian indie rock duo Cari Cari were supposed to share the stage with Film Orchestra Babelsberg already in early 2020, but the pandemic didn't allow for it to happen. More than one-and-a-half years later, though, many dozens of musicians entered the stage of Nikolaisaal in Potsdam and turned Cari Cari's minimalistic arrangements into grand orchestral anthems. The audience finally got to dance again, even though it was a seated concert.

Nikolaisaal Potsdam
Nikolaisaal is a concert venue in the center of the German regional capital Potsdam. After its construction in 1909 it was first used as a sacral building, then additionally as a music venue. After a period of decay in the second half of the 20th century Nikolaisaal was redesigned and reopened in 2000 and is since then a regular venue for all kinds of cultural production.
