On the last, rainy day of Open Air St. Gallen the local electro-pop duo Kaltehand / Natasha Waters invite us to the charming Kafi Franz. Two days before they have performed on the huge festival stage and now they set up their reduced gear in this intimate coffehouse setting for a Secret Session. While the rain keeps pouring down outside, Natasha and Davide play an atmospheric session for some of their dearest fans. People find themselves spellbound after this captivating set.

The traditional boy’s name Franz has been out of fashion for a while. However, it might be a first sign of change, that one of St. Gallen’s hippest cafés is called Kafi Franz. Run by two fashionable ladies, the cosy café shows some love for details without being fussy. It offers a rather puristic charm with the two main ingredients of wood and tile. And of course the best of all are food, drinks and the very sweet garden area. No doubt, it’s popular; so popular that you might have a hard time getting a free table at Saturday dinners and Sunday brunches without reservation.
